The Union Foundation took part in the XIV Civil Society Forum

On December 5, 2025, on International Volunteer Day, the Union Foundation took part in the XIV Civil Society Forum - an annual event that brings together thousands of participants from all over Ukraine to exchange experiences and establish partnerships.

This year, the Forum traditionally brought together representatives of civil society, authorities at all levels, the media, international donors, experts, representatives of the State Emergency Service and defense forces, as well as veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian War.

During the Forum, our Foundation held several negotiations and consultations with international partners:

  • The United Nations Development Program in Ukraine (UNDP),
  • The International Renaissance Foundation,
  • IREX Ukraine Rapid Reaction Support Fund
  • The European Endowment for Democracy (EED),
  • The Partnership Fund for a Resilient Ukraine (PFRU).

We also attended panel discussions dedicated to:

  • work with temporarily occupied territories,
  • support for frontline communities,
  • formation of veteran policy,
  • transition from rapid response to sustainable solutions.

Such events are significant - they provide an opportunity to summarize the year's activity of civil society organizations, demonstrate the scale of work under harsh conditions, from the rear to the front, and also plan the following steps, enlisting the support of reliable partners.
